This project is located in Bijlmer, south of the center Amsterdam, combining the original train station and bus-stop. It can be seen as a redesign of a new transport hub and an upgrade of the old station.
Hyperloop is a concept for a "fifth mode of transport". It is a system of sealed tubes through which a pod may travel free of air resistance or friction conveying people or objects at high speed while being very efficientIts characteristics includes: immunity to weather, collision free, twice the speed of a plane, low power consumption, and energy storage for 24-hour operations. As a new type of transportation, hyperloop connects the cities like train but providing faster travelling speed. For different mechanical system of hyperloop, the station needs some particular adjustment in space organization. The design is based on the new requirement and, at the same time, solving the urban problem of original station.
